The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) is responsible for facilitating the administration of justice and promoting the observance of the rule of law in the country. The Ministry comprises two constitutional office holders namely, the Attorney-General, who is the chief legal advisor to Government and is assisted by the Solicitor-General.

The Ministry of Justice is charged with the responsibility of facilitating the administration of justice and promoting the observance of the rule of law.
The core values took into account the National Values and Principles as enshrined under Articles 8, 9 and 86(1), of the Constitution of Zambia. The Core Values are:
